Woods and Meadows

A practical look at how nature works around us. The young scientist is taken on a hands-on exploration of such environments as the country and the seashore. Simple text is accompanied by colourful illustrations and photographs aimed to enhance understanding of nature. ALL YEAR ROUND looks at how nature changes as the seasons change. Projects include keeping a nature diary, building a shelter for hibernating animals and putting together a seasons museum. WOODS AND MEADOWS takes a look at woodland wildlife.
