Polyanthology
Description:
Poems, like music and other art-forms, express a vivid perception of reality. They are created by artists attempting to share their experiences with other people. Such experiences are usually brief and transitory, but nevertheless catalytic. The poems in this anthology were written down spontaneously by the author after being inspired by events or sights that happened fortuitously. The poems seemed to come from another dimension and have a life of their own, quite independently of the author's awareness of them. It is hoped that readers will be able to receive their own inspiration and awareness from at least one of the poems here.
The author is an octogenarian caver, walker, writer and a retired chemical engineer who lives in Gawsworth, Cheshire. He is a widower with one daughter, two grand-daughters and three sisters, all of whom have encouraged the publication of these poems. The proceeds from the sales of this anthology will be donated to The East Cheshire HospiceOther publications by the author include A Bedside Book For Older Cavers, Sixty Years of Caves and Caving, North Bucks Yokel and Jumble, also available in all good bookshops.
