The Protector: As guardian of a secretive, mystical Order of magic beings, the Sorceress of the Ancients sends one of her warriors on a mission to retrieve The Rune Stones of the Tuatha De! Danann. These three Rune stones have the power to gift a person with the ability to shape shift. And they’ve been stolen from an ancient, Irish burial site.

The Warrior: As a Druid Warrior, Gryphon’ O’Connor, must retrieve these stones before their powers are released in today’s world and the Order is revealed to mankind. By the time he gets to New York, where the stones have been taken, however, their symbols have been translated. And they’ve been used to commit a hideous murder.

The Woman: At the Manhattan Museum of Antiquities, Heather Green is an Acquisitions Assistant. To find the stones within the cavernous museum, Gryphon approaches her for help. But his story about stolen rune stones is just too unbelievable. And Gryphon isn’t the kind of man Heather can trust. Could the presence of the stolen stones have caused the death of a museum guard, as Gryphon suggests?

The Adventure: If Gryphon reveals too many of his secrets, will it cost him and Heather their lives? Can they both find a way to retrieve the stones, stop a murderer, and fight their growing attraction? Will the Sorceress of The Ancients allow a man of legend, with the ability to shape shift, love a woman from the outside world? Especially when all the creatures of the Order depend upon the Sorceress to keep the existence of magic a secret?
