After witnessing the gruesome scene, husband and wife production team, Ava and Frank Bernstein, suddenly find themselves with a new client, Nobou-Wei¾Japanese movie star and father of the late Miko. After being hired to work on the production of his latest television series, Ava and Frank are plunged onto the set with a colorful and eccentric cast of characters, each one a potential suspect for murder.

Motives soon surface as Ava and Frank uncover the truth about million dollar inheritances, jealous socialites, sordid family histories, and more scandalous love affairs then an afternoon soap opera.
