Building Blocks for a Strong Christian Family

God ordained the family to be a husband, wife and children; however, single parenting is growing because of hardened hearts, stubbornness, and self-centeredness. The devil is doing everything he can to destroy the family. Sometimes, one spouse decides to pull out of the marriage, and the other is left with the responsibility to raise children. That is not God’s best, but thank God for His grace. An extended or blended family requires an extra degree of compromise, flexibility, and patience. There must be compromise in the relationships between each spouse and his or her children. If spouses are not willing to compromise, the marriage is over. You have to be willing to compromise and have patience in many simple, day-to-day things.
