EMD's GP18: The Transitional Road Switcher

Fascinating history of the GP18, a road switcher that was a stepping stone between the pure first generation GP7 and GP9 road switchers of the 1950s and the GP30s and GP35s that rolled out by the hundreds in the 1960s.
