The autobiography of the English aeronautical engineer, aircraft designer and builder John O. Isaacs (1920-2001). Isaacs worked as an aircraft engineer at the Supermarine Aviation Works, Woolston, Southampton and was involved in the construction of the Currie Wot biplane. After he left Supermarine, in 1958, he designed a scaled down Hawker Fury, followed by a scaled down Supermarine Spitfire, and made the plans of the two designs available to amateur enthusiasts to enable them to build similar aircraft.
