Risk in Probation Practice

This text addresses a growing policy and practice concern in the Probation Service's work with offenders, both within the community and with those approaching release from custody. The Criminal Justice Act of 1997 and public and governmental concerns with offender risks to public safety have made this a key area for probation managers and practitioners.
