Starting Science: Electricity and Magnetism (Starting Science)

The "Starting Science" series is designed to make science themes come alive through a combination of full page impact photographs with commentary for discussion, activities and investigations in which the children are involved and background information further linking pictures and activities into the chapter's topic. Each book in the series provides an introduction to science enquiry methods. In using them the teacher will find that they are involving the other core subjects of language and maths. Through the activities and investigations, the children use a variety of ways to explore the world around them and to record their discoveries.
