This work contains chapters on buying, carting and converting timber, as well as ‘wheel-stuff’, ‘hand-work’, ‘wagons’ and ‘learning the trade.’ ‘iron-work and jobbing’ as well as the work of the Smith; ‘putting on’ and ‘boxing on’ are also included.
