Monitoring, Simulation, Prevention and Remediation of Dense and Debris Flows IV (Wit Transactions on Engineering Sciences)

Containing papers presented at the Fourth International Conference on the topic, "Monitoring, Simulation, Prevention and Remediation of Dense and Debris Flows IV" includes the latest research on one of the most destructive types of water-related disasters, debris and hyper-concentrated flows. These hazards are likely to occur with increasing frequency and to affect more people due to the effects of population increase, urbanization, land subsidence and the impact of climate change.
