On Valentine's Day 1968, Kilo Company left the safety of the Ca Lu Combat Base on orders to complete a combat patrol mission. Ten Marines and their Senior Corpsman lost their lives in battle that day. The government declared my father, HM2 Larry Jo Goss, Missing in Action.
