21-Day Consecration

We are living in a time when people want something more than just an everyday human experience - the desire to feel something greater; do something greater; live in a mindset of something greater; and expecting God to do something greater. You feel like you are different from others, but you can't pinpoint what it is that sets you apart. You have this longing to get more knowledge and understanding of Who God truly is. You have questions about your purpose and why you do or see things differently than others. How do we live in a space that is different than the mundane of everyday experiences? You wake up; go to the bathroom; prepare breakfast for you and the family; get the kids ready for school; prepare yourself to leave to go to work; meet up with the same people at the office; attend several meetings about the work that you're supposed to get done but can't get done because you have another meeting immediately after the meeting that you're currently in; and then you get to your office, only to realize that you haven't eaten lunch and it's already 2 PM. So, what do you do? You go to the vending machine to get a snack to keep you fueled until time to leave at 5 PM. SURPRISE? You have just received another task from your supervisor, asking for your input on a report that was due 3 hours ago, so you will have to read immediately, in order for you to get it back to them before you leave for the day. Well, now it's 6 PM; and your scheduled time to leave has long passed, so, someone else is picking up your children and preparing dinner for them. Have you got that "ah-huh" moment that has caused a paradigm shift in your mind of something greater? If you cannot answer these questions with confidence, it's time for you to settle down and let's work on spending some time with God for the next 21 days, consecrating ourselves to be set apart for the Master's use.
