An Eagle's Flight In POETRY (The Courage of a Butterfly)

POETRY IS OFTEN CALLED the language of emotion. This poetry was written into the original manuscript of the sequel novel,The Soul of An Eagle. (It is a book about surviving—coming back from the brink of death.) Where does one go when one has seen the end of his life and realizes he has been so busy being whom others wanted that he never really lived. And too, knows that this person dying is not someone he likes or respects. This book is that story in poetry.
THE NOVEL WAS REWRITTEN and the poems were removed and published herein as a companion book. Language of emotion? Yeah, his were squirting out in poetry. Just so, some poems may hit you hard. Others are about the magnificence of one's very soul. All are expressed in an honesty such as you likely have never experienced, nor ever will again.
THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES. Your soul orchestrates your life to give you the lessons you need to evolve. Given that insight, what is this book doing here in your life right now?
LIFE, AND A LITTLE TIME is all we are given here on this Earth. But if not based on honesty and truth, life means nothing. Those precepts by which we live our lives—looking in the light of truth you’ll see, most of them are lies—lies you were told in order to be controlled.
LOOKING AT LIFE FROM a completely different perspective, you’ll see what others cannot. In the light of the Spiritual Laws—the simple truths of life—reveal the lies that cause so much dysfunction in life.
AND HONESTY? That takescourage. To reject the lies, to piss into the face of all who taught them to you—your parents, your church, your society—yeah, takes real courage. It is so much easier to believe the lies. They relieve us of all the responsibilities associated with honesty—yes, much easier to play the BLAME GAME than to be the responsible party in our lives.
