The essays by Frank Miele in this collection span from 2015 to 2018 during the campaign of Donald Trump and the first two years of his presidency, with special emphasis on border security, the Deep State and Fake News.The "Why We Needed Trump" trilogy began with "Bush's Global Failure: Half Right" and continued with "Obama's Fundamental Transformation: Far Left." Most of these essays originally appeared in the Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell, Montana, where Miele worked for 34 years, including 18 years as managing editor.
