Clarissa's Warning highlights the problem of a heritage lost through the decay of its ancient ruins, and explores some of the history specific to the island where it is set. Clarissa's Warning forms part of my Canary Islands' series which began with The Drago Tree and also includes A Matter of Latitude, both set on Lanzarote. These novels are setting rich and fall into the genre of travel fiction, and the novels are as much sto
