That is why they watch you so carefully - that you may not get away with any progressive ideas which would be a surprise to the world of theirs. This is Garvey s legacy which he left for the African world. As Garvey s spiritual children, let us invoke his dauntless spirit of resistance and struggle, by paying gratifying respect and homage to him and our great progressive African ancestors, by accepting the challenge to liberate from mental and industrial slavery the down-pressed and down-trodden Africans wherever they reside.
