Guides Sixth Impairment Training: Spine

Learn how to accurately evaluate permanent impairment of the spine and pelvis, based on the new principles of the Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, sixth edition.

The spine and pelvis are divided into four regions:

-Cervical spine: including occiput through T1
-Thoracic spine: including T1-T12
-Lumbar spine: including T12-S1
-Pelvis: including ilium, sacrum, and pubic rami

This resourceful training workbook is geared toward a multi-disciplinary audience and illustrates key differences between Guides Sixth and prior editions. It also includes more than 125 content-based questions with a rationale for each correct answer and a 25-question assessment test so users can assess their understanding of the Guides Sixth methodology and its application.

Emphasis is placed on correctly applying the new grid construct and determining impairment with consideration to physical examination, functional history and clinical studies.
