Brush With Passion: The Art and Life of Dave Stevens

Brush with Passion charts the career of a beloved and influential comic artist who was influenced and encouraged by legendary creators like Jack Kirby and Milton Caniff. Stevens reminisces about his work as a storyboard artist for Michael Jackson's Thriller video and Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost Ark, his days drawing comics, and the trials and tribulations of bringing his Rocketeer character to the big screen in the 1991 Disney film. Renowned for his wink-and-flirt pin-up art, Stevens is credited with revitalizing interest in, championing the rights of, and befriending the reclusive 1950s model Bettie Page.
