Originally published in Germany in 1989 to critical acclaim, Famouz established the reputation of Anton Corbijn as the photographer who redefined the genre of music photography.

The photographs in Famouz reveal themselves in a characteristic tone and dark, veiled mood, eliminating every suggestion of glitter and glamour.
