Seminole Bend

The rural swampland of south Florida provides a vivid backdrop for a scheme to take down the American government. Rogue CIA agents and a rich rancher conspire to develop radar-jamming and remote guidance systems that control civilian aircraft from the ground. Following two midair disasters over the skies of south Florida in the course of a month, the FBI and NTSB are at odds whether the crashes were simply a coincidence or a criminal act. Meanwhile, recently fired sheriff’s deputy, Willy Banks, sets out on his own to investigate a string of bizarre deaths in the small community of Seminole Bend and discovers evidence that could link those deaths to the recent air tragedies. A web of intrigue unfolds, and the cast of fictional characters are interwoven with historical events and actual places to lure the reader into an entertaining labyrinth of Deep South culture, governmental stratagem and international conspiracy.
