Mission Possible: The Biblical Strategy for Reaching the Lost, Second Edition (Regnum Studies in Mission)

This book is "written by foot," as I hiked the mountains to share God's good news; a missiology book "for the rest of us," so that missiology will become liberated from the specialists to every believer. On the other hand, during my own teaching, the need for a textbook that is simple and friendly, and yet solid in biblical interpretation, became apparent particularly for the "majority Christian world." This book links the biblical teaching to the actual and contemporary mission setting, thus serving two important purposes: Asian minds and all non-western worlds learn more effectively as examples are given; and the biblical development is brought to our contemporary setting, making the Bible come to alive today. The additional chapters were written while working in a very different context: in Oxford serving mission leaders of the global Church. These two radically different contexts, however, did not change the message of the scripture, affirming the universal claim of its authority.
