Description:
In a short span, seventeen-year-old Anna Feiner's life becomes "persona non-grata." Being Jewish in 1943 has become a hazard, but her father's determination and her unconventional looks may be her saving grace. As Germany strives to eliminate the Jewish population, Anna's father, Joseph, makes her search for a place to hide and learn to survive on her own. She found the perfect spot for her future home, but like most teenagers, she ignored her father and missed her opportunity to hide and vanish, leaving only one possible way out; escaping with the dead. She will lie in the mass grave of the dead, to flee from the grasp of the ghetto and feared concentration camps. She is determined to find her hiding place, but she can't resist seeing her home and her best friend, Peter, one more time.
