Strategic Safety Plan

Companies that excel in safety and health share common characteristics. They understand the fundamental safety and health principles, and they execute them through methodical techniques. This plan is divided into five sections that highlight OSHA s safety and health management principles for achieving Star status. Each section will describe the value of the principle and then offer three techniques you can use to implement the principle. The principles represent the conceptual requirements for success while the techniques represent the processes you use to implement the principles. Principles only exist on paper until you make them a habit with consistent action.
