INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this book is to offer an interpretation o pastoral counseling for ministers and theological students. A secondary purpose is to provide an interpretation for that grow ing group of counselors who do not consider their work pro fessionally in the field of religion, but who have an interest in the relation between what they are doing and religion. The book seeks to deal with a specific approach and method of pastoral
