A self-taught painter, Kim Jacobs began her illustration journey by studying illustrators such as Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Howard Pyle, and Swedish artist Carl Larsson. While still in college, Kim began her professional career by illustrating stories for early childhood education. Her illustrations reflect Kim's love of creation and her fascination with worlds in transformation. She draws inspiration from diverse sources and from her own extensive travels, and blends all together to portray unique, places that exist nowhere and anywhere.
