About the Author\nDavid B. Grant is Vice Rector (Dean) of Research and Societal Impact and Professor of Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility at Hanken School of Economics, Finland. He is also a Bualuang ASEAN Chair Professor at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Recent visiting appointments include the École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur, Paris and Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá as the Silla Corona Distinguished Visiting Professor.\nDavid B. Grant obtained his Ph.D. from Edinburgh University and his thesis, which investigated customer service, satisfaction and service quality in UK food processing logistics, received the James Cooper Memorial Cup PhD Award from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK).\nHis research interests include logistics customer service, satisfaction and service quality; food and non-food retail logistics; and reverse, closed-loop and sustainable logistics. David B. Grant has over 250 publications in various refereed journals, books and conference proceedings and is Senior Associate Editor for the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Associate Editor for the Journal of Supply Chain Management and on the editorial board of several other international journals. Two of his recent Kogan Page books, his edited Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations Management: Case Study Collection and Fashion Logistics, co-authored with Professor John Fernie, received the Ouvrage Nominé 2016 for Les Plumes des Achats & Supply Chain awards in Paris.\nDr Alexander Trautrims is a Lecturer in Supply Chain and Operations Management at Nottingham University Business School, UK. His research focuses on sourcing, compliance and supply issues in supply chains.\nProfessor Chee Yew Wong is Chair of Supply Chain Management at Leeds University Business School, UK. He has more than nine years of industrial working and consultancy experience in operations, purchasing, production, inventory and distribution management, and supply chain design with SMEs and multinational companies.\nOur daily lives are permeated by the activities of logistics and supply chain, from food and clothing to doorstep deliveries.
