But we may dismiss all doubt on that point, as the scribe has Simply followed the authority of an alphabetical index (now mutilated at the beginning) which was clearly contemporary with the drawings themselves. And really, if we had no authority for the name at all, internal evidence alone would have very strongly suggested that the portrait represented Warbeck.
