Description:
In the streets of Verona the feud rages on between the Capulets and Montagues. The prince decrees death for any who break the peace. Romeo attends a ball thrown by Juliet’s father. The feast begins. Romeo and Juliet meet and feel instant attraction, sealed with a kiss. When Romeo learns she is a Capulet and Juliet discovers he is a Montague, they become distraught. They overcome this however and are married by Friar Lawrence. Further trouble ensues between the two families but the young lovers find a way to meet. When Juliet returns home she learns that her Father has arranged a marriage for her to Paris. Juliet cannot tell her family she is married to Romeo, and she goes to the Friar in desperation. Shakespeare’s famous romantic tragedy concludes with an end to the feud which was bitterly won.
