Notice of this meeting shall be given by the Recording Secretary at least seven days before the holding thereof, by notice published in at least one newspaper in Boston. ARTICLE IX. Special meetings of the Society may be called at any time by the Trustees, of which notice shall be given in at least three newspapers published in Boston, and no business shall be transacted at such meeting, excepting that which is specified in the notice. Article x. The Trustees shall hold regular semi-annual meetings in March and September, in each year, and such other special meetings as they may direct, or as the President may at any time call. Five Trustees shall be a quorum to transact business. ARTICLE XI.. The Trustees, at their first meeting after their election, annually, shall choose from their own body an Executive Committee, a Committee on Agencies, and a Committee on the Depository. ARTICLE XII. The Executive Committee shall have the management of the funds, and the gratuitous distribution of the books procured with them; the Committee on Agencies shall have the direction of all matters connected with the agencies of the Society, the appointment of all agents, subject to the approval of the Trustees, and the defining of their respective duties; the Committee on the Depository shall have the management of all matters connected with the Society's Depository for the sale of Bibles, --all of said Committees, at all times however, to be subject to the direction and control of the Trustees in all respects. ARTICLE XIII. These By-Laws may be repealed or amended at any annual meeting, or at any special meeting duly called fur that purpose, by vote of a majority of those present.
