But these kids were much more than the sum of their home runs. The Blue Bombers chronicles the journey of twelve kids who learned to love and respect the game. The story begins with the singular vision of Rod Roberto, the Park View league president, who started with a core group of three kids and built a powerhouse from there. By the time the team won the championship, it had built a formidable bond that carried its players through thick and thin.
