Katelyn Shine and Johnny Sol's ideologies are unstoppable. They get what they want when they want it by reaching into other people minds and making their desires come true... whether they want them to or not. Katelyn and Johnny must master their devastating philosophy, fighting enemies who will stop at nothing to keep the pair from achieving their goals, or die meaninglessly. To succeed Johnny must go through Katelyn's old friends, the fire-poets, as well as confront the leader of a group called the Dualists, deadly foes Johnny doesn't know exist. Impetuous, cocky, and clueless as to the real struggle happening around him, Johnny will hammer Life itself on the anvil of his will to find Katelyn, regardless of the consequences.
