The Christmas Gift

The Christmas Gift is a family story about the power of an apology, forgiveness and understanding to overcome all challenges and break down all walls. A lawyer, trying to help a client whose anger is overcoming his good judgment, tells the story of Scott and Ben. Scott, the new kid in school, crosses Ben, the school bully by standing up for one of his victims. As a result, Ben makes Scott his daily target. Eventually, fed up with the constant torment, Scott explodes in an emotional outburst that manages to cut Ben down in a way nobody else has been able to. Yet, Scott s conscience troubles him and he is driven to apologize to Ben. What results is a unique relationship between two most unlikely friends. This friendship, built on understanding and forgiveness, becomes the rock upon which the two boys rely when faced with a crisis that will change them, and generations after them, forever.
