Colors of The Soul: A Poetic Quest

What is the soul? We have been seeking answers to this question for thousands of years. We have theories, but no evidence. Perhaps this is the way the soul is supposed to be ¿ an entity that each of us must define to fit our individual realms. To me, the soul is not so much a thing, but a cubicle of being measured in dimensions yet unknown. To me, the quest for my soul is as important as the soul itself. Does the soult have colors, in dimensions we are allowed? I do not know, but I choose as a poet to imagine such colors to be there. The colors of the soul, or lack thereof, is a part of my quest ¿ is a part of this collection of poetry.\nDr. Merle Martin is the author of The Haunting: Poetic Images of Alaska and several other books.
