Mr. Blair's Labyrinth
Description:
Two teenaged brothers are looking for some summer fun. They settle on camping out at Grampa s historic lake home. When they arrive, Grampa is turning an old garden into a labyrinth. The boys help, and as they do, learn the history of the house. That night, under a full moon, they decide to walk the labyrinth. It s midnight on Midsummer s Eve, a most magical time, when one of the boys is granted a wish. The year is no longer 2012. It s 1935, the bleakest part of the Great Depression. They re trespassers on the old owner s property. Police are on on their trail! They steal a canoe and flee across Lake Orion. Wet and miserable, they find refuge at a hobo camp. From there they hop trains, join a circus, and work as migrant farmhands . . . always searching for food, shelter and a way back home. Mr. Blair s Labyrinth is an adventure into the present, the past and the future.
