Higher Calling

Gary Kemmeran witnesses an auto accident in a snowstorm, gets out to asist, and is slugged. When the EMTs wake him, he doesn't remember the incident-but someone can't count on that, and the next morning someone shoots at Gary and his wife, Becca, on their quiet suburban street. Why? The Police tell Gary to stay out of it. But he's angry. They shot at his wife. So he plunges headlong into an investigation. Becca wants in to watch his back. He makes her a partmer and finds he can't keep up with her. Gary's police report attracts the interest of FBI and CIA agents. Now the couple know they're up against a group of professional terrorists, but every effort to step away binds them tighter to the crime until Gary must find his own Higher Calling: If he is to have any chance to disrupt the bombing, he must give up what he loves most in the world.
