Calculus by and for Young People (Ages 7, Yes 7 and Up)

This is an amazing book (3 3/4" x 5")! It was written to share with parents, teachers, teachers of teachers, and learners of all ages- the problems that Don, his students, Archimedes and Newton, worked on. The interesting thing about Don's book is that it shows how to look for and find patterns, that makes much more sense to the study of graphs, functions, solving equations, infinite series, infinite sequences, Fibonacci numbers, derivatives and integrals. He uses hands-on materials to do much of this, for all ages of learners, and has fun doing it.

This book was reviewed in the Dec. '88 issue of Scientific American and Mary Pride's The Big Book of Home Learning among many others. The Japanese translation of this book has sold well in bookstores throughout Japan.
