The social mind attributes of love, cooperation, compassion, respect, consideration, and concern for others are the attributes necessary to make our current social environment function.The book correlates the unrestrained expression of the primordial and animal mind attributes to the abnormality of psychology and to the Devil of religious lore. Unrestrained sexuality, aggression, viciousness, greed, cunning and treachery are abnormal. They are also the work of the Devil. On the other hand, the God like social mind attributes of love, cooperation, compassion, respect, and concern for others correlate to the normalcy of psychology and the virtue of religion.Individual philosophies of living based on combinations of the presocial and the social mind attributes range from pure animalism at one end of the scale to extreme socialism or religious radicalism at the other. In between are combinations of presocial and social mind attributes that are acceptable to society, psychology, religion and the law.
