Healing from Childhood Abuse: We Have a Voice Now; My Sides and Their Journey Back to Life; Poems Reflecting My Many Lives

This book captures the journey back-to-life of a survivor of chronic childhood abuse and the unbearable pain, terror, desolation, and despair imprisoned within and experienced throughout by her other "sides" and their many lives. "The Howl" broke through the walls of denial, insanity, destruction, betrayal, and deception as it forcefully catapulted itself from her body too many years later to count. The "Doom" began to lift after a life-time of anticipated dread. By the grace of God, she didn't die. Miraculously, those little ones' voices trapped inside are being expressed and coming alive as part of her. As they share their lives (memories) with each other and acknowledge and process those truths, they become more "Fluid Emotions" ready for integration and a chance at a more manageable, functional life understanding peace, joy, and freedom. This book may help others "hang in there" a little longer as they trudge through "Hell" having faith they too will survive, find their voices, know they matter, become empowered, and experience hope from the darkness. We are NOT alone.
