The SOES bandits' guide: Day trading in the 21st century

AUTHORS PREFACE Why should I bother to write a "how to guide" on a business career opportunity when my feeling has always been, if what an author has to say is so brilliant, why doesn't he just do it, become rich and to hell with everyone else. Exactly! So why this book? First of all, I was the "original" SOES bandit as detailed in an October 19881s Barrons article, "TERRORS OF THE TUBE." I have continued to SOES trade since 1988 along with my family and friends. My successes in this endeavor have been significant. So why invite competition into this wonderful field of opportunity? Simple - by myself and with only a few other participants the securities industry would have surely eliminated this niche. From 1988 to the present, the NASD has done everything in its power to stop me and put an end to SOES trading. Its tactics, which I believe are immoral, unbusinesslike, anti-competitive and probably illegal, are just now being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. My only hope for maintaining a safe environment for SOES trading is to increase the ranks of the SOES trading community. There is strength in numbers. Don't think I'm doing this just to be a nice guy or make a lot of money writing book. My primary objective is to teach this technique to enough candidates to assure its perpetuity. If thousands of choose to participate in the market by trading this remarkable way, it will be much more difficult for a few corrupt regulators to stifle their attempts. So, do me and yourself a favor - understand what it is I am telling you, get started on an exciting, unbelievably rewarding career, and become a member of the SOES trading community. The language in this book is like that in trading - simple and to the point. I have not filled this book with fluff, and I try to get to the point simply and directly. SOES trading is not complex.
