This bilingual (Spanish/English) book is based on the experiences of members of Project PROJIMO, a rehabilitation program run by people with disabilities in the mountains of western Mexico. Volver a Vivir / Return to Life is about how six people who have spinal cord injuries work together toward independent living and self-sufficiency - for themselves as well as others. The photographs and text, selected by the members themselves, make their stories come alive.
