The History of the Soul

Was our planet once populated by a lost civilization that was destroyed? A fundamental reappraisal of the most revered ancient texts and traditions from around the globe, coupled with archaeological and geological evidence, suggests that it was. But what were our antediluvian ancestors like? Rather than huddling in caves to escape the ice age, were they expert navigators and astronomers who traveled far and wide? And did they have access to incredible technology, or was their culture defined far more by its spirituality? Indeed, what was it that caused the massive surge in culture that began around 75,000 years ago and led directly to the evolution of the modern human race? What ongoing impetus allowed it to snowball so rapidly, compared to the slow but steady evolution of our hominid forebears over millions of years? Were divine sages really sent to introduce civilization to humanity, and if so how can we understand who or what they really were? Some sort of gods, or angels, or extraterrestrial visitors? Or were they just highly experienced souls incarnating on earth with a job to do, as they still do to this day? Is there evidence that our forgotten ancestors were almost completely wiped out? If so, how did this happen, and when? And was it just a random natural catastrophe, or was there an underlying 'karmic dynamic' related to their increasing preoccupation with the material at the expense of the spiritual? Most important of all, did their destruction have anything to do with universal energetic cycles? And, if so, what can we learn about the future we now face in the modern era? Are we once again surfing the crest of a huge energetic wave? The veiled pointers to our hidden past have finally been unmasked as more than just the psychological constructs of philosophically primitive cultures. History is repeating itself. But what will happen this time round? And is the script already written... or can our actions now still help to dictate the outcome?
