Family Trip

This recording contains many of Barry Louis Polisar's early songs, re-recorded with a full musical texture and style that include Memphis slide, blues and folk influences. Barry sings about family car trips with "It's My Mother and My Father and My Sister and The Dog, " and celebrates the joys of an "Early Sunday Morning" and "I Sneaked Into the Kitchen in the Middle of the Night." This recording also contains a few Polisar classics like "When the House is Dark and Quiet" and "My Brother Threw up on My Stuffed Toy Bunny."
