Ingrid Wendt was born in Aurora, Illinois and graduated from Cornell College (Iowa) and from the University of Oregon. She has taught at the University of Oregon, Fresno State College (California) and for the Poets-in-the-Schools program in Oregon. She has been managing editor of "Northwest Review" and she is co-editor of "In Her Own Image: Women Working in the Arts". Her poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including "No More Masks". Currently she lives in Eugene, Oregon with his husband, Ralph Salisbury, and their daughter, Erin.
