Canon EOS SLR Cameras represent a new concept in SLR photography. The EOS (Electro-Optical System) comprises cameras, special EF (Electro-Focus) lenses, EZ dedicated flash units, multi-function accessory backs and other accessories. Each EF lens contains its own autofocus motor, ensuring equally smooth and fast autofocus with lenses of widely varying sizes and designs. In dim light, the EZ flash units project a dark-red pattern of vertical stripes onto the subject, making autofocus possible even in total darkness.
