This two-volume dictionary was compiled to assist English- and German-speaking scientists, clinicians, students, and translators who deal with psychological and psychiatric material in gaining a better understanding of the literature in both languages. Each volume contains over 30,000 terms from psychology and psychiatry, as well as related fields such as neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, cybernetics, statistics, and biology. Published under the auspices of the Center for Psychological Information and Documentation at the University of Trier, Germany, the Dictionary of Psychology and Psychiatry is the most exhaustive bilingual compilation of terminology in these fields available today.
