Early Visual Skills

This work is intended for use by professionals who are working with children who have under-developed visual perceptual skills associated with language delay or other communication difficulties. It offers photocopiable activities which are designed to stimulate and develop visual attention and discrimination skills. It is aimed primarily at pre-schoolers, but is suited to the needs of a range of children. It contains mostly non-verbal activities which are suitable for children with limited spoken language, including deaf, the sensory-impaired or those with autism or learning difficulties, and contains activities to help develop specific concepts such as colour, size and shape.
