Spanish/English Patient Education Collection: Women and Infants

The Women and Infants component of the Spanish/English Patient Educati on Collection will help providers of maternal/child health care meet t he needs of an increasingly diverse patient population. It provides a wide assortment of materials for educating and counseling Spanish-spea king women patients on important topics in contraception, sexually tra nsmitted disease, pregnancy and birth, and infant care. Each handout i's provided in both an English and Spanish version. Materials come read y to insert in your own binder. They feature a large print, easy-to-re ad format and are ready to be photocopied for individual patients as n eeded. An Editorial Advisory Board of bilingual health professionals h elped select the best materials submitted by health departments, agenc ies, programs, facilities, and organizations across the country. Mater ials were carefully reviewed to ensure accuracy of language and clinic al information.
