The Preacherman and the God-Light

Disenchanted, Ariah Fielding leaves his beloved ministry. Touched by the light of God he becomes an itinerant preacher whose understanding of true spirituality is expanded with help from an escaped slave also seeking his rightful destiny. Frightened by the preacherman's successes, a cardinal of the church, the mayor of London, and a heartless businessman conspire to rid themselves of this powerful threat to their opulent lifestyles. A fearful Ariah escapes to the colonies where, through an ironic twist of fate, he falls in love, weds, and returns to England armed only with the wisdom of God to overcome his enemies' scheming through his unconditional love for all mankind.
