Introducing Theatre

Now entering its ninth edition, Introducing Theatre remains an informative text and an excellent choice for use in your introductory theatre course. The book has been written for both theatre and non-theatre majors with a focus on "how theatre is put on the stage." The newest edition of Reilly and Phillips includes stunning new photos of contemporary classical and multi-media productions, updates, and information on senior adult theatre, children's theatre, cutting edge solo shows and acting for film and television. A Native American short play, Spirit Line, by Judy Lee Oliva, is also included along with short essays on contemporary Irish theatre and the work of Asian American playwright Naomi Iizuka.
